This contest will be an individual contest. Winners will be based off the best before and after picture transformation after the end of the 60 Day Total Body Transformation Contest. 
  • Before pictures must be take on July 15 2013
  • Before and After pictures must be submitted by September 12 by 11:59 pm to aaron@afinstitute.comto be eligible for the prize money.
  • Must follow the instructions covered in the video above on how to submit the before and after pictures.
  • If you are unable to attend Anderson Fitness Institute a 60 day workout program and diet plans will be emailed to you.
  • Submitted before and after pictures will be uploaded to www.afinstitute.com and may also be used for future marketing campaigns.
  • The winners will be announced  September 21
  • Failure to send your before and after pictures in by 11:59pm on September 12 will disqualify you from winning prize money. YOU MUST ALSO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS LAID OUT IN THE VIDEO ABOVE ON HOW TO SUBMIT BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES.

30 Lessons in 30 Years!

With my 30th birthday just around the corner I started thinking back on my life and how much different things were just a few years ago.. With age comes experience and with experience comes wisdom and with wisdom the world takes on a whole new meaning..I am going to  share with you 30 lessons in 30 years I have leanred and experienced along the way that have made a huge impact on my life

 

  1. Everyone has something special to offer
  2. Life does not always go your way..But you have to find the positive in EVERY situation
  3. Live life with passion!!!
  4. Your health is your most prized possession. Exercise at least 45 minutes 3 times a week and eat healthy at least 6 days a week.
  5. Follow your DREAM NO MATTER WHAT!!!
  6. Surround yourself with positive people who inspire you to grow as a person
  7. It’s all about MINDSET
  8. I have come to realize that loving yourself is the most important thing you can love.
  9. You only get one family..So cherish the time you spend with them
  10. People come into your life and people go…..Just understand if they leave its ok, there are plenty of people yet to come into your life.
  11. Give everything your best effort!! Anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.
  12. Do things that scare you!
  13. Finish strong!
  14. Hire a mentor.
  15. Never stop LEARNING!
  16. Stop making excuses…I have learned you get a lot more done in half the time if you stop making excuses J
  17. We are where we are in life because of previous decisions we have made.
  18. You can have anything and everything in life…After you ask yourself this question..What do I want?…. Asking myself that question was like an aha moment for me.
  19. People will always put you down for dreaming big…That’s ok they just don’t understand.
  20. Writing a TO DO list is extremely helpful and also makes your days much more productive.
  21. I have learned that women are always right( I had to throw that one in there 🙂
  22. Find activities that make you happy and do them often!
  23. I have learned that true wealth in life is giving.
  24. Let people know often how much they mean to you.
  25. Do not be crippled by your fears use them as challenges to overcome.
  26. Write down goals..I have found that without goals you are less likely to accomplish things.
  27. Stop wishing and start DOING!!
  28. Be YOU everyday all the time!!
  29. Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night your body will thank you for it!!
  30. How you look is a product of how you live!

The 2012 Paradox.

 

We live in a time where taking responsibility for ourselves and our actions are merely a suggestion. It’s a time where there is a pill for weight loss, energy, sex drive, and everything else under the sun. It is a time where through technology we are seconds away from connecting with anyone in the word, however that few seconds is too far away to connect fully with the human soul. We have learned to make money at the expense of enjoying the things in life money cant buy. It is a time when we have become obsessed over a number on a scale; a time where the thought of following your dreams is reserved for the FEW lucky ones in life.

 

A time where communicating in person is a thing of the past. A time when we take better care of our car, clothes, and shoes than we do our bodies. A time where we make time to do the things we dislike and don’t make time for the things we do like. These are times where we criticize more and love less; a time when we consume more medical drugs, processed foods, and move less than any other time in history.  A time when we want to start on a goal on Monday and be able to achieve it by Friday.

 

We have lost touch with the fact that we must work hard for something now, to be able to enjoy it later. A time where we can build huge jumbo jets, massive sky scrapers, and everything in-between but fail at building relationships with others. A time where we “don’t have time” for our health and are shocked when we get sick. A time where relationships are built off possession and status not TRUE love.  A time where we know others better than we know ourselves.

 

We have become so concerned about the way others view us, that we spend our whole day living to appease others and forget to please the most important person, YOU. A time that we are sleep walking through life as opposed to THRIVING through life. A time that every day we wake up its one day closer to being able to retire because you hate your job. A time in history that we consume more caffeinated drinks everyday than we do water, eat more sugar than we do vegetables, and eat more fake meat than we do real meat. A time when love is measured by the size of a diamond.

 

A time when changing your mind, learning, and growing is frowned upon and looked at as being hypocritical. These are the days of sleep not being important because we have redbull and 5hr energy drinks. A time when curing disease with food and lifestyle is criticized and medical drugs in the only way; a time when foods that are thousands of years old are now suddenly causing heart attacks and other diseases. These are the days where the size of someone’s heart is trumped by the size of their bank account. A time when we assume that every day is granted and not a gift; a time when we let others decide whether or not the goals we have can be accomplished.

 

Remember the things that are most important in the world can be done by ANYONE! Rich or poor, tall or short, famous or not famous, guy or girl. And that is to look deep inside someone and let them know you love and appreciate them. Life is short so make the most of it!

 

 

10 Fitness And Fat loss Secrets

1. Eat real FOOD! Eating organic and raw food as much as possible will give you the greatest chance to be fit and healthy. 

2. Do not abuse cardiovascular exercise! Sitting on a stair climber or elliptical for prolonged periods several times a week can result in increase levels of a stress hormone called cortisol which can lead to weight gain and loss of muscle mass!   

3.  Get to bed on time! Getting 8 hours of sleep is imperative if wanting to get in shape and drop body fat. Get to sleep by no later than 10:30pm every night. Lack of sleep causes major blood sugar problems and can lead to being diabetic!

4. Find the middle ground between working out, career, social time, and other things you love in life! Do not overdue it listen to your body for guidance! 5.  Drink lots of good quality water! Drink out of glass bottles whenever possible.Half your body weight in ounces per day is what you should shoot for.6. Be positive! Stinking thinking leads to hormonal imbalance which leads to negative health issues  7. Try to limit your starchy foods for after your workouts. This can change from person to person however this is a great start!8. Get outside with the sun as much as possible! The human body was not designed to sit under artificial light all day! Getting out side under the son has tremendous healing and energizing powers!9. Do not count calories! Focus on food quality not food quantity and you will find yourself eating less because the food you are eating is very nutrient dense and filling! 10. Focus on body shape not body weight! ( The picture below illustrates how weight is irrelevant. They all weigh the same however have different body fat percentages which make them look much different)
